Great Britain and France, the history of rivalry and alliance

We continue the cycle of lessons and presentations dedicated to the francophone days in Armenia and perform activities guided by the main objective to expand our vision of the French –speaking world. Today’s presentation is about the relationships of Great Britain and France, their history of rivalry and alliance. Being neighbouring countries, they have complicated relationships moving from enemies to allies. It is common knowledge that with your neighbour country you go through history.

Today we will try to review the history of their rivalry and alliance by playing a jeopardy game. The students have to answer some questions of increasing random difficulty in turn.

We do our best to promote francophone and love for the                         country, engaging our students in a cross cultural study, by having them read, learn French and participate in different francophone projects. The students get insight into how different cultures are unique and gain multicultural skills so necessary in the 21st century.
