Destination –Great Britain
This lesson is designed to explore the theme of Great Britain. Students build their knowledge of England and develop their language skills. The activities we use give them the opportunity to find out more about England. They have the chance to read about the country and find out more information about its people, culture and icons.
Students learn factual information about England’s tourism, politics and history. Exercises they do in class test students’ listening and reading skills. Using relevant vocabulary gives students practice in asking for information during a trip to England. There is also an opportunity for students to do some research into planning their own trip. The students identify the use of different transport vocabulary and means of transportation available in England. They choose the most scenic and relaxing way to discover Britain.
