The Book of the Month

Within the Whole School Project “Norms and Anomalies” the students of great 11/1 hold a book discussion. They emphasize the importance of acquiring speaking in public skills referring to book “The Art of Public Speaking” by Dale Carnegie. They claim that fear of speaking is a norm, while glossophobia is considered an anomaly. To overcome fear of public speaking is their common goal. With this purpose in mind, they analyze sources of fear trying to find solutions.

Dale Carnegie’s book, «The Art of Public Speaking,» is a classic guide to improving public speaking skills. It provides practical advice and tips on how to connect with the audience, overcome stage fright, and deliver compelling speeches. Carnegie’s principles emphasize confidence, preparation, and audience engagement as key components of successful public speaking.
