Tips for teaching

There is an old adage that says two heads are better than one.

Nowadays teacher collaboration is the key priority aiming to promote open communication and bring many minds together.

Most of the current major educational reforms call for extensive, meaningful teacher collaboration. Teachers are expected to work together to alter the curriculum and pedagogy within subjects and make connections between the school disciplines. The rapid changes and increased complexity of today’s world present new challenges and put new demands on educators. Teachers’ knowledge base in the 21st century requires not only inter subject correlation but also inter subject competence. Self- education and personal growth have become an essential part of our work. Teachers who participate in collaborative learning are more likely to be engaged in collaborative activities.

After the successful the whole school projects, we keep reflecting on the quality of our education and come to a common agreement that it is possible to educate each other.

With this purpose in mind the Chair of Foreign Languages set out the cycle of lectures on teaching English and Russian to our colleagues and look at ways to make learning fun, accessible and meaningful.

Today we are speaking about The Culture of Tipping, explaining the origin of the word ‘’tip’’, which means gratuity for good service. The fellow colleagues are enthusiastic and keen on studying.
