Every year on February 14th, International Book Giving Day strives to reach one goal. This goal is to get books into the hands of as many children as possible. Both teachers and students donate books to our school library and present each other with books.
It has become a good tradition to celebrate Book Giving Day at our school engaging as many students as possible in reading. The Department of Foreign languages contributes to keeping up this tradition by performing fascinating activities to instill love and respect to reading books. We perform different activities to mark this day. We create quizzes to motivate the students’ desire for learning.
Interdisciplinary approach is worth mentioning, as it makes the celebration multicultural.
