ՄԱԿ-ը սեպտեմբերի 15-ը հռչակեց Ժողովրդավարության միջազգային օր։
Ժողովրդավարությունը որքան հին,նույքան էլ նոր է։10-2 դասարանի աշակերտները աթենական ժողովրդավարությունը համեմատեցին արդի ժողովրդավարության հետ։
Վստահ են աշակերտները՝ այն ժողովրդի կամքով ձևավորվող և նրա շահերը պաշտպանող իշխանական համակարգ է։
Ժողովրդավարությունը միգուցե կառավարման լավագույն ձևը չէ,սակայն մարդկությունը ավելի լավը դեռ չի մտածել։
Ժողովրդավարության առարկայական դրսևորում էր դպրոցի աշակերտական նախագահի ընտրությունը։
Աշակերտները պատասխանատվությամբ և լրջմտությամբ ընտրեցին դպրոցի աշակերտական խորհրդի նախագահին։Ժողովրդավարական էր հենց այն,որ նախագահի թեկնածուները շատ էին,սակայն սովորողները կարողացան կողմնորոշվել,և վերջնարդյունքում շատերի կարծիքները համընկան։
International Day of Democracy
The United Nations’ (UN) International Day of Democracy is annually held on September 15 to raise public awareness about democracy. Various activities and events are held around the world to promote democracy on this date.
It is a good idea to celebrate this day at school to give our learners the opportunity to form opinions on the value of democracy. Students are able to perform different activities and reflect on the meaning of democracy.
This year we mark this day by starting a new tradition. In order to demonstrate to all the children just how important we think the School Council is we have a special election on the International Democracy Day, 15th of September.
The school has been preparing for School council election since the 1st of September. Students make polling station booths and ballot boxes for just and transparent elections. Everyone is engaged in the process demonstrating the basic idea of democracy –Equality for All.
