Happy Librarian’s Day 2021
This special day is dedicated to the hard- working librarians and gives us an opportunity to acknowledge their work as well as appreciate the tremendous efforts they put in. They constantly enrich libraries, keeping them well organized to cater to all tastes and be accessible for all students. They instill love for reading and implement a variety of methods to make students read books.
We celebrate the occasion of Librarian Day and express gratitude to our librarian for the richest library in our community. We support the position that school librarians are instructors as well as collaborators with fellow teachers of high school.
The students of our school mark this day by performing different activities. In grade 10-1 we design a Literature lesson on Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte. We implement some strategies that deepen the students’ engagement in reading. Lessons like that inspire feelings, awaken senses and capture students’ imagination students fastening them to beneficial reading development.
Warm greetings on the occasion of the Librarian Day to the librarian who is one of the best book matchmakers for students.
