Environmental problems
This is a Flipped Classroom lesson in grade 10-6. In a nutshell, it means that the first part of the lesson is done by the students at home. In this lesson the students once again reflect on the questions related to environment. They exchange their views and comment on the PPT they have designed. They discuss their ideas taking into consideration such categories as air pollution, water pollution, deforestation and global warming. This lesson introduces learners to some of the main issues related to climate change. Learners focus on dictionary skills and the pronunciation of strong and weak syllables in long words. Focusing on the lexis in detail will help them recognize and use these terms outside the classroom.
