Երկրում հայտարարված արտակարգ դրությունը և պարտադրված արձակուրդը չխաթարեցին Երևանի Կարեն Դեմիրճյանի անվան հ 139 ավագ դպրոցի բնականոն ընթացքը։
Նախօրոք ծրագրված արտադպրոցական աշխատանքները կյանքի կոչվեցին։
Նախորդ ուստարում դպրոցը հրատարակեց էսսե (ակնարկ) գրելու երեքլեզվյան օժանդակ ձեռնարկ։ Աշխատանքը գնահատվեց թե դպրոցի,թե աշակերտների,թե ծնողական համայնքի կողմից.որոշվեց այն դարձնել շարունակական։
Արդեն դեմիրճյանականների սեղանին է հայտնվել մաթեմատիկական տերմինների եռալեզու բառարանը։
Տնօրինությունը իր շնորհակալությունն է հայտնում օտար լեզուների և մաթեմատիկայի մասնախմբերին արդյունավետ և օգտակար աշխատանքի համար։
Ծրագիրը շարունակական է,սպասվում են միջառարկայական նոր բառարաններ և օժանդակ ձեռնարկներ։
Math Glossary in Use
The objective of this presentation is to gain a better insight into across subjects’ connection. The departments of our school highlight the interdisciplinary approach as the basics of the integrated curriculum, providing our students with practical information in their further professional field. We are interested in shaking up our teaching methods in innovative ways to keep our students engaged and excited.
To meet expectations of our students and their parents we initiate implementation of quite a new strategy in teaching foreign languages.
In the specialized streams of high schools, especially in senior grades English as well as other foreign languages should cater to further professional interests. This experience is worth sharing.
Another joint product of our collaboration, together with A Guide to Essay Writing, is The Glossary of Math terminology. It is already completed and will be published in the near future. This document can be easily shared among our students and teachers. It is out of the questions that due to integration Math teachers get a better command of English giving a path to professional growth and Language teachers take the opportunity of refreshing their knowledge of Mathematics.
We believe that the novelty in approaches can truly enhance the learning process, and done right it can be beneficial for both students and teachers.
Knowledge is useful when it can be applied to day to day life, therefore,
correlation of school subjects within specialized streams of high school sooner or later will become a keystone. We are already prepared.
